What does the word ‘adventure’ mean to you?
Adventure [ad-ven-cher]
noun
-
an exciting or very unusual experience.
-
participation in exciting undertakings or enterprises: the spirit of adventure.
For many, it evokes visions of mountain hikes and travel to far-flung places, but why stop there?
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE to travel, and you’ll find some of our explorations in this category, but I also believe ‘adventure’ shouldn’t be reserved for time off:
Adventure should be a lifestyle, not a break from one!
We can bring a little bit of the unusual and exciting to our everyday life. Downshifting, slow living & minimalism are just a few ways to bring some adventure to the every day and #LiveDifferent
As a family of 4 living in a 35 x 10 ft static caravan, we are huge advocates of alternative living solutions. When we first made the decision to step outside of convention and opt for an alternative dwelling I couldn’t have foreseen how much it would alter the course of our lives.
We are better connected as a family, freer, more in tune with the seasons and our environment, and just plain happier!
Unsurprisingly, we are passionate about alternatives here at The Life Spotters.
Whether it’s #vanlife, tiny homes, canal boats, skoolies, shipping containers, Earthships, eco or off-grid…there are a plethora of alternative living solutions that make us crazy happy, and I’m really keen to explore this area on the blog – if you are living an alternative lifestyle, please get in touch! We’d love to hear from you!
